Before the Smoke

Light tan/brown color.

Light in weight.

No visible defects.

Cold Draw

The first taste as the cigar hit the lips, there was an immediate spiciness to it--not to be confused with pepper. The cold draw brought a very dense notes of hay and spice.

First Third

Galano Toro ClasicoSurprisingly, no pepper yet.  After a few draws, very pleasing notes of almonds followed by cedar and a hint of vanilla on the finish.

The burn line was fantastic. The draw was extremely easy and open from the first puff.

*NOTE*  I made a party foul by dropping the cigar right after cutting which lead to some minor tears at the cap. Lucky, as it fell, it hit head first(at the cap) and did not damage the cigar further.

Second Third

2nd Third Galano Clasico ToroBy the second third, the spice came out to play followed by the cedar, and almond.

Right in the middle of the second third, the spice vanished, leaving a very subtle, but sweet almond and vanilla-like note.

The burn line remained razor sharp like before. The draw still smooth as ever.

Final Third

Galano Cigars Clasico Very sweet almond and cedar with a very creamy vanilla. All three notes, cedar, sweet almonds, and vanilla were extremely pleasing to the palate.

The burn line had a few lips here and there but remained even for the most part.

The draw was extremely smooth.

Final Thoughts

This is what we’d classify as the perfect summer cigar.

The construction was very solid. No burn issues or plugs.

This cigar could easily be paired with your favorite cup of coffee or spirit making it perfect for an every day smoke.
